HOKKAIDOGRAPHY's Commitment

HOKKAIDOGRAPHY's brand concept is "to create products that people all over the world who love Hokkaido can enjoy." In addition to that, they have two other rules: "Do not create more inventory than necessary" and "Do not hold sales."

Currently, all products are sold on a made-to-order basis (products are made after purchase). For this reason, it takes about one month for the product to be delivered after purchase.

In Japan, about 2.9 billion pieces of clothing are produced annually, of which about 1.5 billion are left unsold, with most of them being discarded. That's an unbelievable amount, isn't it?

The apparel industry requires a huge amount of energy from production to disposal, placing a huge burden on the environment. HOKKAIDOGRAPHY is strongly committed to running its brand as compactly as possible.

And sale items that can be purchased at a bargain price. It is certainly attractive to both sellers and buyers. I think that if we held a sale, more people would buy HOKKAIDOGRAPHY products. But we don't do sales. That's because we don't want people who bought our products at full price to be disappointed.

Sale items are generated from excess inventory, and if you follow the rule of "not making more inventory than necessary," they will inevitably become unnecessary. On the other hand, since they cannot be mass-produced, the cost of creating the product is high, and the selling price is high. In that respect, they have no chance of winning when compared to major brands.

Although we have imposed these rules, we will continue to do our best to make sure that you still want to try wearing HOKKAIDOGRAPHY products.
