BETWEEN NORTH AND WORTH - Episode 3 Transcription
Thank you to everyone who listened to the last podcast!
Today is March 22nd. The Vernal Equinox has passed, and we are finally starting to feel signs of spring. The weather was unstable in March this year, but the days are gradually getting longer and the temperatures are rising, and we can feel the end of the long winter and the arrival of spring. Personally, I like the timing of this change the most. It makes me feel like, "Winter is finally over!"
Well, since we are currently accepting pre-orders for our new items, I will be talking about the products and the photoshoot that took place the other day. Please relax and stay with me until the end.
March's new lineup
It's still chilly at the moment, but this product will be delivered in mid-April. By that time, temperatures will reach double digits in Hokkaido, and will reach around 25°C in Tokyo, Honshu, and further south, so we have lined up a lot of T-shirts and long-sleeved T-shirts.
Reservations are accepted until Sunday, March 23rd.
We apologize for the short sales period, but thank you to everyone who has already purchased!
Every time I get an order, I am filled with thoughts like, "There really are people who sympathize with this brand," "I'm glad I made this product," and "I'm glad I started this brand in the first place." I am truly grateful.
This lineup features a lot of designs that make use of lettering art .
Speaking of HOKKAIDOGRAPHY, I personally think that the “179 design,” which has all the names of cities and towns in Hokkaido printed on the back, has become established as a symbol of the brand.
In addition to the regular cotton products we sell every year, this time we have a new item, the 179 TEE, made from DRY material .
T-shirts are useful in many different situations. They can be worn not only as everyday clothing, but also when exercising, at work, and as innerwear. We have expanded our lineup of DRY materials so that you can wear 179 TEE in any situation. We would be happy if you could carry all the cities and towns of Hokkaido wherever you go.
Furthermore, as a new attempt, we have also produced a T-shirt and shirt with an Ainu motif logo embroidered on the pocket .
Based on the concept of "subtly promoting Hokkaido", the logo is embroidered in thread of the same color as the body. At first glance it looks plain, but the logo stands out clearly to the naked eye, and its casualness gives it a very cool finish.
Embroidering the pockets requires advanced techniques, but we have trusted craftsmen finish each piece carefully, so you can be sure of the quality.
Also, just having a pocket makes it look a little more formal than a T-shirt, so if you haven't tried wearing a pocket T-shirt yet, give it a try. I think it will greatly expand the range of coordination!
Other new items include a cute and simple T-shirt with a cursive logo, a long-sleeved T-shirt with an ICE LIGHT logo, and a pile-lined hoodie and sweatshirt with a leather emblem, which have been on sale since the last time, as well as a cap with a Ramen Heritage design.
Since we have limited the number of products, they are all highly recommended, so please check them out!
Behind the Scenes
I've also posted photos on Instagram, but this model shoot was helped by my beloved seniors, juniors, and friends my age.
It was very cold on the day of the shoot, but everyone was so positive and patient with us, which made me really happy. As we are all from the same generation, our very cool and dandy vibes matched the worldview of the brand, and we were able to really bring out the HOKKAIDOGRAPHY style.
Partway through the shoot, some of them said, "It's so cold, I can't feel my hands...", but I'll never forget the look of relief on their faces when I told them, "This is the last outdoor shoot!" (laughs).
I know I asked you to do a lot of hard work, but thank you very much for your cooperation. I look forward to working with you again next time!
To everyone who has discovered HOKKAIDOGRAPHY
We advertised on Instagram, so I think many people have found out about HOKKAIDOGRAPHY at this time.
HOKKAIDOGRAPHY is an apparel brand for adults who love Hokkaido .
Since it is still a small brand, some people may feel a little unsure about purchasing. Also, all products are made to order and delivery is mid-April, so there is a hurdle in that you cannot get them right away.
However, we do offer unique and one-of-a-kind products, so if you're even slightly interested, we'd be thrilled if you'd give them a try.
Please rest assured that we will create and deliver the products you purchase responsibly.
Also, the history of the brand and my personal introduction are included in Episode 1 of the podcast, so be sure to check that out as well.
Reservations are accepted until Sunday, March 23rd.
Finally, reservations for March products are open until tomorrow, March 23rd (Sunday) .
